Troop Organization

In order to have a successful Scout-led troop, there are several groups that need to come together.

  • The troop committee works behind the scenes to help with the administrative portion of the program

  • The adult leaders work to provide guidance and mentorship to the scouts

  • The Scouts work together to tailor their experience to their interests.

The organization chart shows everyone who is currently involved in Troop 494. It outlines all of the adults positions and responsibilities, as well as the current positions held by scouts. Click the image to open a PDF.

Scouts who are members of the Patrol Leaders Council (PLC) identified on the organization chart meet at 6pm on the first Monday of each month to plan for meetings and campouts.

Here are current positions held by scouts, and the adults who they can use as a resource when they have questions.
